Steve J. Bracknell of Crystal Springs with the new state-record Atlantic Sharpnose Shark.
A new Mississippi recreational saltwater conventional tackle record was certified during the Mississippi Commission on Marine Resources' June 18 meeting.

Steve J. Bracknell of Crystal Springs broke the state record for Atlantic Sharpnose Shark with a 15-pound, 4.6-ounce fish on May 19, 2013.
