Mississippi Sportsman magazine caters to the interests of hunters and fishermen throughout the state, and the response we receive on a monthly basis from our readers is tremendous. Most say that they love being able to open a magazine and read about the places that they actually fish or hunt.

Our editorial content changes depending on the season. For example, from February through March we focus on freshwater fishing; from April through August we emphasize both freshwater and saltwater fishing; and from September through January we feature hunting as well as fishing.

Our saltwater coverage features local fishing hotspots for coastal species such as speckled trout and redfish as well as offshore species such as tuna, marlin and king mackerel. Freshwater features usually cover bass, crappie, bream and striped bass. Beginning with our annual hunting issue in September, we feature local hot spots and experts on deer, waterfowl, doves, rabbits, squirrels and a host of other huntable game.

GENERAL POLICY: All advertising insertions, orders, contracts and materials are subject to approval by publisher. No cancellation of space orders will be accepted after space closing deadline. Contracts with ad cancellations prior to completion will be short rated to the lowest earned rate. Rebate of credit earned by reaching a higher frequency discount level will be applied to the advertiser's account. This credit may be carried forward into the next year's advertising cycle. All contracts and insertion commitments must be made in writing: No verbal agreements will be honored.

Please supply bitmap (black-and-white line art) or grayscale images only. Photos should have a resolution of 170 dpi. Art or graphics should have a resolution of 300 dpi. Line art should have a resolution of 600 dpi.
