    About Us

I own and operate Spot On Fishing Adventures out of Leeville La. Here at Spot On Fishing Adventures we take you on a inshore guided fishing trips in the marshes, bays and coastal areas chasing Speckle trout, Red fish, Flounder, Black Drum and many other species of fish that beautiful south Louisiana has to offer. I started my passion for fishing bass fishing going up as a kid with my dad and over 20 years ago I went red fishing for the first time and have never looked back. That red fish I caught was in Leeville and I been there ever since and love it. Out of Leeville we also fish Grand Isle, Golden Meadow and other sounding areas when we are not right there in our backyard. We are right in the middle of everything. I started Spot On Fishing Adventures in 2010 and have been living a dream fishing for a living and meeting new and exciting people every day. Teaching and watching some of them catch their first fish and enjoying their day on the water. We run our trips out of a 24' Shallow Sport Boat, to keep our clients comfortable and up close to the fish in very shallow water. We provide all the best equipment and everything you need for your day of fishing, then clean and bag your fish for you to take home. All you need for your day of fishing is what you want to eat and drink for the day and your personal items. I look forward to meeting you; See you on the water 'Chasing Spots and Specks'

I had the pleasure again to take my youngest son Hunter fishing on Friday. Me and Hunters good friend Kalon came with us again. We went out to go fish this new pond for Red fish that I found on a prior trip. We started the day out cool with cloud skies and the wind blowing out of the NE at 15 or more. The water was really dirty. This made our day rough to start. We brought some live minnows with us and our 2 tons of baits between to two of us. It took us most of the day but we caught our fish. Ended up with 12 reds, tagged and released 3 or 4 and had 12 or more that were too small. With all the baits we had between the two of us, everything we caught was on Black and Chartreuse Vortex Shad and on live minnows. Any day on the water with your son and a good friend is a great day.rnSpot On Fishing AdventuresrnCaptain Anthony Buquoirn225-806-8808rncaptbuquoi@gmail.com

I have been telling you the Speckle Trout will show up. Well they are finely here. This past weekend we started catching them in good numbers. I had some caught on Monday with 25 keepers in my boat and the other boats having 38 and 44 for the day. I have reports boats bring in close to limits of trout all week. It has got better as the week went on. We have been catching them all in Timbalier bay from Fornation to East and West Timbalier. With it only getting better this weekend.\r\nSo if you\'re a Speckle trout hunter the wait is over for our area. Come on and join us in Leeville to get in on this great action. \r\nMost of the trout are being caught on live shrimp and Lemon Head Matrix shad. Don\'t forget to stop by Terry\'s Live Bait for your live shrimp.\r\nCaptain Anthony Buquoi\r\nSpot On Fishing Adventures\r\n(225) 806-8808\r\ncaptbuquoi@gmail.com
