Duck callers from across the country will gather in Stuttgart, Ark., March 19-20 to compete for positions in the World's Championship Duck Calling Contest held later this year. The Arkansas Duck Calling Classic, hosted by Ducks Unlimited and Mack's Prairie Wings, is one of the largest sanctioned duck-calling competitions in the country.

Wednesday's final practice for the 2010 Bassmaster Classic didn't get any better, with bites coming few and far between. Apparently, the subfreezing temperatures have pushed Lay Lake's bass fishery into the doldrums, and anglers returned from the reservoir shaking their heads.
