After an almost three-hour fog delay, B.A.S.S. officials told the Bassmaster Classic anglers to crank up their boats and prepare to blast off at 9:45 a.m., MS-Sportsman.com has learned.

The 2011 Bassmaster Classic field of 51 anglers was finalized Saturday (Nov. 6) when South Carolina’s Ryan McMurtury won the Bassmaster Weekend Series Championship to score the final Classic berth. Joining him will be two Mississippi anglers: Petal’s Cliff Pace and Laurel’s Paul Elias.
