Cade went with his mom and brother on a mixed bag fishing trip with Sardis Lake fishing guide Aaron Barton (Barton Outfitters) in late June 2024. The trio fished an FFFD (free floating fishing device or “jug”) set over main lake flats with cut bait including drum and chicken gizzards. In addition to catching post-spawn blue catfish, the pair pulled crankbaits in 18-22 feet of water catching a nice mess of white crappie and scrappy white bass.
