Jeremy Doyle, who moved to Mississippi from Pennsylvania about a year ago, caught his first gar on July 9, 2021 at the Ross Barnett Reservoir spillway. He used a large minnow out about 30 feet and within 5 minutes this gar hit his bait like a freight train. After a 10-15 minute fight, he brought this fish in for a few photos and then released it.
