This buck was taken on Dec. 5, 2020 on private property in the Lake Mary area near Fort Adams, Miss. Matt Lynch and his daughter, Rebecca, 5, were hunting together when she spotted this buck standing behind a white crane on the other side of a duck pond. It was a long shot, 300+ yards, but she kept saying “shoot him daddy.” Twenty minutes later the pig came out and she said “shoot him too.” Lynch gives her all the credit for this hunt and now she’s convinced that there’s a deer standing behind every white crane she sees when they’re hunting.
