Alumacraft Prowler 165

The Prowler 165 comes standard with features usually associated with larger, more-expensive, boats. On the console, there is No Feedback Steering and a switch panel to control the livewell, bilge pump, running lights and more. The electrical system includes pre-wiring for a 12/24 volt trolling motor. For stability and strength, there are four keel breaks and a center hard keel on the one-piece hull. An aluminum transom completes the build to make this one tough, little boat.

Alumacraft quality begins below the waterline where the modified Vee hulls are made from a single sheet of heavy gauge, top-quality, 5052 marine-grade aluminum. No seams below the waterline means nothing to split and leak. The hull fastens to ribs, and Alumacraft uses more ribs made from heavier-gauge aluminum, making for a rigid hull that helps keep safety and confidence high when Mother Nature is having a bad day.
