Mississippi license valid
Mississippi fishermen can fish the entire Aliceville Pool, a.k.a. Pickensville Lake, with a Mississippi fishing license, even though a lot of the lake is in the state of Alabama. Mississippi anglers can fish Columbus Lake then be locked down to fish the Aliceville pool. Just be aware that some barge tows may be large and have precedent since they may have a dangerous or flammable cargo. Tournament fishermen have found this to be a problem when the delay locking up made them late for weigh-in.
