Mississippi pro brings big bass paycheck back from New York

Cliff Pace turned in a consistent tournament finishing in 12th place at the Major League Fishing tournament held Aug. 6-11 at Cayuga Lake in Union Springs, NY. Pace was sitting in 9th place in the knockout round but came up just short of his goal of finishing in the Top 8 for the championship round.

Pace won $10,000.00 for his tournament finish. Pace is the 43rd world champion of bass fishing and the 39th member of the B.A.S.S. Millionaires Club.

Pace, of Petal, is the 2013 Bassmaster Classic Champion and he is now fishing on the Major League Fishing Tour. He has a career 33 Top 10 finishes, 52 Top 20 finishes and 3 wins for a total winnings on the pro circuit of $1,895,907. Pace was also the winner of the 2019 MLF Bass Pro Tour Stage Eight in Neenah, Wisconsin.
