Effective July 1, 2022, according to House Bill 1065, the transportation of live wild hogs will no longer be allowed in the state of Mississippi. Previously, there was a permit system in place allowing individuals who possessed a specific permit to be able to transport live wild hogs. It is now illegal to transport live wild hogs in Mississippi.
