When hunting doves, some sportsmen use fishing tackle to place a dove decoy high on non-working powerlines. Doves frequently sit on powerlines. They see the decoy on the wire and come to it. NEVER TRY THIS WITH LIVE WIRES. (Photo by John N. Felsher)
