I was wondering what some MS hunters think about MS Dept. of Wildlife's rule pertaining to non-resident hunters not being able to harvest does on any public land. Fair or not? I hunt a small tract in Amite County that I and a few friends lease. We also hunt the Homochitto Forest and I have had to turn down many opportunities to shoot does through the years. By the look of things there are plenty of does to go around and it seems the buck/doe ratio is a little out of proportion. I do not think it right to discriminate when I pay $400 for license fees and spend countless dollars in the state each year. What gives?
