    Hey, guys, CCA Mississippi is sponsoring a Live Catch Speckled Trout Tournament this Saturday to support the Gulf Coast Research Lab's speckled trout hatchery program.

    The even will provide live trout to be used as brood stock at the hatchery.

    The tournament is free to all CCA members (membership forms available at the Captain's meeting), and theere are divisions for men, women and youth.

    Great prizes are awarded just for entering a fish or participating in the event.

    And fingerlings raised from these trout will be released back into Biloxi Bay.

    Hey, beerslayer, I just talked with Chad Dacus of the MDWFP, and he told me that the reports of bucks moving around have pretty much come to a screeching halt with this warm weather.

    That being said, there have been some whoppers killed this season during warm spells, so don't give up!

    Isn't that just a great vid? Reminded me of when my now-20-year-old son killed his first deer, a doe he whacked at 165 yards. We hooped and hollered, and jumped around so much I thought the stand would fall.
