OUR BELOVED DESOTO NATIONAL FORREST AND RED CREEK MANAGEMENT AREA ARE UNDER ATTACK FROM OUTSIDE BUSINESS INTREST. THEY NEED MORE LAND THAN THE GULF COAST BEACHES CAN PROVIDE. THE ONLY DIRECTION TO EXPAND IS NORTH. THE LAND THEY WANT IS DESOTO. BE VOCAL, BE UNITED, BE PERSISTANT. DON’T LOOK FOR ANY SUPPORT FROM LOCAL NEWS, NEWS PAPERS ETC. IF IT’S TO BE SAVED IT WILL BE BY A GRASS ROOTS EFFORT. GOOD LUCK AND MAY GOD BLESS.
