Bowie’s Sportsman Show Booth

One spot you won’t want to miss at the Louisiana Sportsman Show and Festival at the Lamar-Dixon Expo Center in Gonzales, La., on March 17-19, 2023 is the Bowie Outfittters “Super Booth,” which includes individual booths with products from Abu Garcia, Penn, Daiwa, Costa Del Mar, Falcon, 13 Fishing, Shimano, Bubba and Grundens plus much, much more.

Bowie Outfitters stocks up for the Sportsman Show all year long and has a 3,000 square foot area that is all their own. They wall it off and inside that booth they have individual vendors that have their own spaces.

“It’s 3,000 square feet of deals that you won’t be able to get in our store,” said Lee Benoit, Bowie’s General Manager. “We’ll have a huge inventory cheaper than you can even buy in the stores. We run the biggest sale we possibly can while we are in front of that many people at the show.”

Benoit said this year is a totally different situation than last year, too. And it should be great for consumers.

“The supply chain has loosened back up and we have a big stock of items,” he said. “It’s a completely different world from what it was last year with inventory. We’ll have some of the newest pieces that each vendor is offering. And another thing that will benefit the buyer is the fact that a lot of our inventory we ordered early last year did not come in until the fall after the spring and summer seasons.

“We will be pricing a lot of that overstock at an even greater discount at the show. It’s benefitting the consumers because those will be some really good deals.”

Bowie’s has two stores in Louisiana, Baton Rouge and Lake Charles, and two in Mississippi, Natchez and McComb.
