Henry Bennett, 7, got his first deer on Nov. 26, 2023 while hunting with his uncle, Eric Pell, in Warren County. He made a 40-yard shot with his .243.
“We trailed her a ways and decided to call a friend with some dogs to make short work of finding this deer. We couldn’t let her get away since it was his first deer and he’s been hunting hard and put in a lot of hours to get one. We are so proud of him and he is hooked!”
