Two more Delta lakes reopen after Mississippi River flooding

Wolf and Broad lakes now open for fishing.

Wolf and Broad lakes have reopened to recreational fishing and boating after being closed becasue of flooding from the Mississippi River, the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks announced today (July 6).

Eagle Lake in Warren County remains closed to all fishing and boating. However, MDWFP announced that the water level is expected to recede to safe levels soon, at which time it will be reopened.
