Officials with the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources announced that the recreational fishing season for Greater Amberjack (Seriola dumerili) will open in Mississippi territorial waters on May 1, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. local time and will close June 1, 2024, at 12:01 a.m. local time.
