AGM offers transferrable warranties

AGM Global Vision is a relatively new company officially opening for business in April of 2019. Its owners and founders have deep roots in the night vision and thermal optics industry with Armasight, Flir and others. They bring to the table over 40 years of experience combined.

AGM has got a lot of attention lately with the release of the Asp Micro 160 thermal monocular. This monocular has been the most anticipated thermal product in recent history in the thermal world. The reason for such a fuss is the price of $499. Most thermal monoculars are over $2,000 and the prices go up from there.

It’s a budget friendly thermal monocular with a 160×120 thermal core. It has an ID range of about 100 yards on coyote sized animals with a detection range much further at around 300 yards. It’s not the quality of a $2K+ optic but it’s a solid product made for the hunter demanding a monocular that won’t break the bank.

Now on the shelves at dealers, the AGM Asp Micro 160 has been one of the most anticipated thermal optics in recent history.

Now AGM is making waves in the thermal industry once again with its warranty for customers purchasing AGM products. The story just broke and was put out by Jason Robertson on the latest episode (111) of The Late Night Vision Show on YouTube and podcast during a review of the Asp Micro 160.

“AGM is offering a transferrable warranty on all of our thermal and night vision optics,” says Trent Henckell with AGM Global Vision sales, “We have that kind of confidence in our products.”

Warranty time

What this means is that an AGM product is sent to a dealer for sale to the public and AGM keeps up with that date and the product is warrantied for three years from then even if the original purchaser sells the product to another individual, then another—the warranty goes with the optic. This is almost unheard of in the industry, especially for budget friendly optics like the Asp Micro line.

AGM Global is making its presence known in the thermal world offering a three-year transferrable warranty on all its optics.

What else is good about the warranty time is that if you make a purchase from a dealer and you keep the original sales receipt, the optic is warrantied three years from the date of your purchase.

“We keep track of the serial numbers,” adds Henckell, “It cuts out a lot of the red tape and helps keep track of how old the optic is even if it has passed hands a couple of times.”

Products by AGM are not sitting on the shelf at the dealers very long as they are in high demand and customers sometimes are waiting on thermal optics.

AGM produces thermal scopes, binoculars, and monoculars. They also have night vision weapon sights, monoculars, binoculars, and clip on devices. With a diversity of products and now with an industry leading warranty, AGM Global Vision is making their presence known in the world of thermal and nigh vision. Maybe other companies will take the challenge and follow.
