UFO headlighters? At least not poachers

This game cam image shows some strange lights. Could they be a UFO?

Couple’s trail cam photos appear to show hovering lights over deer in food plot

If indeed space aliens are guilty of shining lights on Mississippi deer, we can be happy that they at least are not poachers.

No deer were shot in the making of this weird story.

Uh, what?

Yep. Recent stories from the Gulf Coast, including national TV coverage, show unexplained lights hovering over a food plot on 150-acres of private land in the Cumbest Bluff area of Jackson County, owned by Rainer and Edith Shattles.

On the day after hunting season ended in South Mississippi, Feb. 16, the Shattles were reviewing the nightly photos from trail cameras, when they discovered a series of extremely odd images.

“This case, I didn’t know what it was,” Edith Shattles told ABC News. “I was looking for a nice buck to be showing up on the trail camera.”

What she and her husband saw instead was a progressively strange run of photos on the infrared camera, one which the TV reporters say uses no light to take photos. However, what they failed to note was that the camera obviously uses a flash since the light does appear to light up the eyes of deer and the backs of their heads, when they are looking the other way.

But whether or not the camera uses a flash factors little on what evolves into two distinctly bright lights seemingly in mid hover over the field.

Like two car headlights, the object’s lights are pointed directly into the field and into the camera’s lens. The field appears too well lit for the illumination to be caused by the camera itself, no doubt there.

The lights are there, and then they are gone.

In another frame, a deer is shown illuminated in a beam of light that Rainer Shattles said can’t be explained.

He also said that he doubts seriously the lights were of an alien origin, but said there’s no question that and “unidentified flying object” was to blame. He even wondered if it was a government drone.

The Shattles are doubtful they will ever know exactly what happened and created the odd camera images. They are hopeful that somebody will step up and claim responsibility.

One this is definitely for sure, if the deer know the true story, they probably won’t tell it.
