Punching skirt keeps bulk when downsizing lure profile

If Caleb Sumrall is punching particularly thick vegetation, his preferred Missile D Bomb can begin hanging up.

That’s when it’s time to switch to a sleeker lure — but the angler doesn’t want to lose the overall bulk of the D Bomb.

So he turns to a Missile Craw, which has fewer appendages to hang up in the grass.

To counterbalance the loss of profile, Sumrall tops his heavy weight with a Delta Lures Punching Skirt.

“The bait has a small profile, so it’ll go on through the grass, but the skirt adds some bulk,” he explained.
