First look at November issue

We’re giving the November issue of Mississippi Sportsman a final polish this afternoon (Oct. 16) before it gets shipped to subscribers and newsstands across the state next week.

This month we’ll show you some huge deer that already have been killed this season, as well as take a look back at a 2011 public-land buck that turned out to be the second-biggest typical buck ever taken in Mississippi.

We’ll also reveal where you should be targeting catfish and crappie in the cool weather, as well as what decoy setups are sure to bring in even the most-cautious ducks.
