Information-packed September issue wraps up today

By the end of the day (Aug. 14), the September issue of Mississippi Sportsman will be out of our hands and heading to the printers. That means that it will be on its way to subscribers and newsstands across the state next week.

Public-land hunters will not want to miss our annual WMA Forecast, and every hunter should read what the experts have to say about the upcoming deer season in our 2012-13 Deer Forecast. We’ve also packed the issue with tips for smallmouth bass fishing on Pickwick Lake and advice on catching crappie at Arkabutla.
