The 2011-12 Mississippi duck stamp, featuring a photograph of a wood duck, is now available for purchase, the Department of Wildlife, Fisheries and Parks announced.
The image of a male wood duck that adorns the stamp was was taken by award-winning photographer Joe Mac Hudspeth Jr. of Brandon.
The $10 resident stamp, along with a valid Mississippi license that covers small game and a federal duck stamp, is required for waterfowl hunters.
A Sportsman, small game, or all-game hunting license is acceptable.
