“I fished my first tournament at the age of 15 and won it, the Russell Christian Academy Open Team tournament at Okatibbee Lake, and I was hooked on tournament fishing,” said Wood. “You can go from zero to hero in a hurry if you’re fishing a ledge because you can locate a school of big fish and make up ground quickly.”
