The Magnolia Crappie Club closed out our 2011-12 season with the State Championship tournament at Eagle/Chotard lakes in late June.

We had 62 teams compete this past season — a club record. We held our first ever $100,000 Open in conjunctions with Water Valley’s 2nd Annual World’s Largest Crappie Festival, drawing our largest fishing crowd ever during the regular season.
Our Big Mama Open to kick off the year was our largest event ever with 69 teams competing, and we’re going back to Grenada next season on Sept. 15, 2012 and Mar. 23, 2013 for more Big Mama events. We draw huge crowds from at least 11 different states to these Big Mama Opens. Join us to see if you can catch one as big as they grow.
